Our Why

In the day and age where media has taken such a strong influence in our daily lives, it has been filled with too much negativity and understanding of what the men and women of all avenues of being a First responder is about. First Responders wake up every morning and make a decision to lay it on the line to help others with little to no recognition. Although we don’t need it, it helps us to understand why we do what we do everyday. I wanted to create this site as a platform to celebrate each other and share stories and support each other. I will use a podcast and YouTube that will speak about topics in all of the fields of Nursing, Police, Fire, Dispatch and EMS. I will be interviewing influential people in all fields and hope to share the stories of people across the nation. It is my vison to bring us all together in one spot to share our interaction and stories. We all share conflict and celebrations together. Although the impacts can be different for each of us, its important for all of us to know we are NOT ALONE. I started my career in the late 90’s as a volunteer FF in a small town in Northern California. Through my career, I have became an EMT, Dispatcher and Paramedic with highest rank of of a captain. I spent last 12 years working in wellness with a position as a director for CISM ( Critical Stress Management). I have deployed across the US as a national wellness officer. I now work in organ donation. It is my motivation to engage with all of you. I have been blessed to be apart of such a unique group of men and women and I want to give a positive platform that will celebrate you all!
